Mic City Sons was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 2012. The band’s debut release, The December EP, came out that same year.

After a long pause, Mic City Sons returned in 2024 with Redemption — an 11-song LP written and recorded entirely by founding member James Topping.

Now based in Melbourne, Australia, James is joined by drums and bass, MCS is shifting from a solo studio project to a full band, ready to bring the songs to life on stage.
